I’ve lived in Kinshasa, Brussels, Madrid, London, Bangkok, and Lille — and traveled to over 20 countries.

…and my compass always points toward food.

New Flavor, New Destination

Every new flavor I discover opens a door to somewhere new, fueling my curiosity and inspiring me to learn more about the people, stories, and culture behind it.

At its core, Flavors We Found is about exploring the richness of global food cultures through cooking, travel, and inspiring stories — celebrating the people, traditions, and experiences that bring flavor to our lives.

Food as a way back…

After living in so many places, my cravings are all over the map — but my cooking skills can’t always keep up. I often try to recreate dishes I love; sometimes it’s a hit, sometimes it’s a mess.

I dream of restaurant favorites across the globe — being in France and longing for that unforgettable Djècoumé I tasted in Togo, or craving Msemmen from Marocco. And sometimes, I just miss the flavors I grew up with — my mom’s cooking or a dish a friend made.

Each dish reconnects me to a place, a culture, a memory — it’s a way of holding onto the places I’ve been.

So here I am — also on a mission to chase down those cravings: learning how to cook what I miss or finding solid alternatives wherever I am.
